My New Outside Blog: Report: Do you use Google Places? Report: Do you use Google Places? Report: Do you use Google Places? By John Le Francois Report: Do you use Google Places? You now have a web site but how do you get traffic to it? This is the the #1 question for most people after they either build their own site or have one made. I have found a relatively cheap investment that has not only driven traffic to my site, but has generated income by bring me new clients. What is this magic bullet? It is called Google Places!

Google Report

Google Places has generated over 500 verifiable impressions per month on average for the last 5 months with a conversion rate of 15% click through to the web site with an average of 1.2 loans per month closing for only a $25.00 a month Fee! This is what the Google Place AD will looks like.

Google Places

Google Places allows you to add tags, posts, videos, pictures and products with your business hours and your contact information on Google Maps and links to your web site embedded in the Place Marker. You can include Keywords within your 250 character post.  If you use keywords about your business in your Google Place Ad this will be found using Google Search and will appear organically in the search results.

Below is the Result of a search for VA Home Loans in Las Vegas, NV, with Google Search.

LasVegasMTG Search

Google Place Ad has been the best return on investment and is a key part of my marketing budget.

Yes - this is a great way to generate traffic. Be sure to include zip codes and property type because consumers search this way. Find my profile and you can see what i am talking about ( - I do'nt sue the paid, just the free.

Once you have a google account you can use the free place markers with full descriptions for any listings and if you do open houses you can do the same. If you use long tail descriptions in the header and anyone doing a Google search for development or zip code will find it.

This is a powerful tool. Use long tail description in the title. Provide as much information as possible within the 250 limit. You also can link keywords in the description to your web site. This is what I have on my place marker:
