www.lasvegasmtg.com Report: Do you use Google Alerts?
This article is for using one of the most powerful tools that you have available at your fingertips and its called Google Alerts to help to develop your business and to save hours of time researching on the Internet.
To use Google Alerts you must first open an account with Google and provide basic information about you and create a user name and password. Once you have a Google Account you are ready to start your Google Alerts.
You have three options on how you wish to get the Google Alerts. Once a week, Once a Day and when it happens. You can control the volume in each Google Alert. Volume is a term Google uses to limit the number of links to each Google Alert.
I have a Google Alert for my name "John Le Francois" the quotation marks are used to search all of the words used and not just some of the words. If you have a common name to a sports player you can use -basketball after the quotation mark to exclude that name from you search.
I use Google Alert for my website www.lasvegas.mtg to see who has added a back-link to my website.
I have a Google Alert for my twitter Account www.twitter.com/lasvegasmtg . I use Google Alerts to get the latest Information on changes to FHA rules, VA Rules, Fannie Mae guidelines and Reverse Mortgages. With Rules and regulations changing constantly this one Google Alert has literally saved me 10 hours or more per week.
I also use the Google Alerts for any new listings that are posted for open houses in Las Vegas, North Las Vegas so that I can go and introduce myself to new Real Estate agents.
If you want to save time and be at the top of the game I really recommend you use Google Alerts to stand out from your competitors.
